The corner buffer is the top back-left corner (letter A). The algorithm R U’ R’ U’ R U R’ F’ R U R’ U’ R’ F R swaps it with the bottom front-right corner, on its right face (letter P).
Memo works the same as for edges: start from the top sticker of the buffer and follow the letters.
For each letter, a setup brings that spot to P, using only R, D and F. For example, for letter V: R’ D’, the algorithm, then D R. For letter C: F, the algorithm, then F’.
A corner can be in place but twisted: it then gives two letters, those of two of its stickers.
Remember: Always do edges before corners, no exceptions.
Troubleshooting
- A corner is twisted at the end
- It needed to be in the memo: a twisted corner counts as two letters.
- The setup breaks the buffer
- Corner setups never use U, L or B: those faces touch the buffer.
