The yellow edges

Line up the 4 yellow edges with their side centers.

Keyboard: Enter to continue, ← to go back. Keep your hands on the cube.

Turn the top until at least two edges line up with their center.

If the two lined-up edges are next to each other, put them at the back and on the right, then do R U R' U R U2 R' U.

If they’re opposite (front and back), do the algorithm once from anywhere, then start again: you’ll have adjacent edges.

Remember: If all 4 edges line up with a simple U, the step is already done.

The cases

  • Swap two edges: R U R' U R U2 R' U. Turn the top until two edges are correctly placed, one at the back and the other on the right, then do the algorithm.

Troubleshooting

No pair of edges lines up
Turn U once more: there are always at least two edges lined up in one of the 4 top positions.
The lined-up edges are front and back
Do the algorithm once from anywhere: you get two adjacent edges, then put them at the back and on the right.
